Doveholes Cottage - Booking Conditions
Your booking may be made by telephone, letter or email. The chosen date will then be held for 1 week from the date of your reservation pending receipt of your deposit, which will be 30% of your total reservation cost.
Cheques to be made out to M Race and sent to M Race, Grange Holidays, Barleyhill, Tinkerley Lane, Kirk Ireton, Ashbourne, DE6 3LF. Guests are requested to provide full names and address(es), telephone and email contacts at the time of reservation.
The final balance will be due in full, 8 weeks before your date of arrival at your chosen accommodation. A security deposit of £20 per person is required to be paid with your final balance, this will be refunded, normally within one week, minus any deductions for breakages, damage or excess cleaning.
All payments will be acknowledged by letter or email, along with directions and instructions.
Guests are asked to contact the owner by telephone or email one week prior to their date of arrival in order to make final arrangements for their time of arrival and to obtain the key. Normal time in is 4.00pm and time out 10.00am but may sometimes be varied by agreement with the owner.
If the owner is likely to be away at the planned time of arrival, arrangements will be made to provide access and give emergency contacts. It is important that guests provide adequate contact details and return calls when messages are left.
In the event of cancellation all fees paid will be non-refundable unless the property is relet, in which case payments will be refunded less a £50 administration fee and any shortfall due to accepting a lower payment for a later booking. The property will be inspected prior to your arrival and any defects ongoing will be pointed out. Any further defects found when guests leave will be charged to the hirer. Self catering means that you are expected to leave the property in a clean and tidy condition, with the washing up done, the barbecue cleared and all items replaced into their allocated space. The task of the changeover team is mainly to change the linen and towels.
For any accommodation defects that occur while guests are in residence please contact the owner immediately in order for repairs to be carried out and damage minimised.
Maximum occupancy for Doveholes Cottage is six adults and one cot. Pricing is based on up to 4 guests using the permanent beds. There will be an extra charge of £50 per week or short break (not per person) for use of the sofa bed to cover the extra costs incurred. No extra charge is made for use of the cot but cot bedding is not provided. Hirers must provide details of occupancy when booking and any proposed changes notified and agreed. Failure to do this may result in the reservation being cancelled. Parties must not exceed the numbers agreed on booking unless by arrangement. The owner reserves the right to ask customers to vacate if this is abused.
We ask that you please be considerate at all times and to observe a curfew of 12.30am for loud music inside the cottages and 11.00pm outside.
Doveholes Cottage is strictly NO SMOKING and NO PETS. If this is abused the guests will be asked to pay the cost of deodorising the relevant rooms and the owner reserves the right to ask guests to leave. Smoking is allowed outside and cigarette ends should be safely and tidily disposed of.
Weekly linen changes are included in the property hire fees. If extra linen changes are required during the week a fee of £15 per bed will be charged. For reservations of more than one week linen will be changed weekly.
Heating, electricity and wi-fi, along with linen and towels for the permanent beds are included in the cost.
Electric heaters can be provided in case of heating failure but are not kept in the property.
There is plenty of parking space but do not obstruct access to the nearby properties or fields.
Safety instructions and advice provided must be read and adhered to.
Goods left at the cottage may either be collected or can be returned by post. Postage and packing will be charged, minimum £10, to be paid in advance.
Payment for any meals or services provided must be made at the time of supply and direct to the supplier.
